Montreal is the nation's second largest city and
one of the world's notable French cities, with a 65 per cent make-up
of Francophones. The heavy European flavour of the city is deeply
inherent in the lifestyle of the people and the glorious architecture
of the beautifully aged buildings. A strong cultural energy of the
city is kept fuelled by the ongoing passion of both Francophones as
well as Anglophones. Over the years, there has been a prevalence of
varying ethnic communities being established in the city.
